Centenary Bank clarifies on ATM hackings

In a statement, the Bank’s head of Communication, Allen Ayebare said: “Centenary Bank wishes to clarify that our ATMs are safe and working normally.”

 

Centenary Bank has clarified on a Saturday Vision story that revealed that the bank could have lost colossal sums after their accounts were hacked into by fraudsters.

In a statement, the Bank's head of Communication, Allen Ayebare said: "Centenary Bank wishes to clarify that our ATMs are safe and working normally."

"The two suspects referred to in the above story have been on the police wanted list for ATM interference, and were arrested by Centenary Bank security team and handed over to the Uganda Police for further investigations."
