Sanyu Babies home was chosen under the charity theme "child's care" which called for extending love and care to children.

Sanyu Babies Home, which is the oldest children's home in the country, currently has more than 30 babies including newborns.

The administrator of Sanyu Babies Home, Barbra Nankya Mutagobya, thanked the association for the contribution to the lives of the abandoned children, saying their future is bright, despite the difficult start of their young lives.

She urged the hairdressers to start showing more love to such children and consider adopting some of them, explaining that this was the only way of creating more space for other children that are abandoned by their guardians and parents from time to time.
