Man killed, body dumped near Wakiso town

A man was killed and his body dumped in a wetland at Sserinya village towards Kakiri town in Wakiso District.

The body was seen by a young boy who had gone to the garden on Wednesday morning.  Local leadersand residents alerted Police.

According to Sserinya village chairman, Wilson Mulondo, the body was brought and dumped in his area. "This is the third body to be dumped in our area in just two months," he added.

Kakiri Police commander, Henry Kisubi, called for vigilance from the locals.

Wakiso has registered 20 murders in the last three months. All the victims were women.
