Police has deployed at different polling stations sighting possible clashes following earlier signs from rival camps.
The National Resistance Movement (NRM) primaries in Kyotera district will take place Tuesday.

The party has a total of six contestants who have been bidding support for past two-week campaigns.
The contestants for the Woman Member of Parliament seat include Dhalia Naluyange, Rachael Nakitende and Cissy Nantongo.
The men contesting for the NRM LC5 ticket include Patrick Kintu Kisekulo, Charles Lubega Ziriddamu and Anthony Mugerwa.
According to John Bosco Tamale, the Kyotera NRM registrar, although there has been some pressure on the contestants, the campaigns concluded peacefully.
He added that every candidate was given equal time to canvass ahead of today's polls.
Tamale also appealed to all candidates and supporters to remain calm during the polls. He added that police is in place to contain violent supporters.
The District NRM Chairperson, Haruna Kyeyune Kasolo (state Minister for microfinance) said the best candidate will represent the party in the main district elections.
Kasolo also appealed to all security agencies to remain impartial so as to have a free and fair exercise.
