Vipers win preseason friendly against Hima FC

Vipers intensified their preparations for the 2017/2018 Azam Uganda Premier League season with a 3-1 victory in a friendly match with Hima FC at Hima Cement play ground in Kasese over the weekend.
The venoms came from a goal down to win the game as their tour came to an end.
The home side opened the lead in the 23rd minute through a penalty after Vipers defender Yayo Lutimba handled the ball in the box.
But minutes later Vipers levelled matters through Tony Odur's equaliser off Yayo Lutimba's assist.
New signing Mousa Mbayi who came in as substitute for Lutimba, gave Vipers the lead when he tapped in a Brian Nkuubi's assist to make it 2-1 in the second half.
Ashraf Mandela who had earlier missed a clear scoring opportunity scored Vipers third goal.
Vipers who didn't walk away with any silverware after finishing third last season in the Azam Uganda Premier League and also they were eliminated in the quarterfinal of the Uganda Cup by Paidha Black Angels want to better their performance next season.
