Rurangaranga's body lies in state at Parliament

TRIBUTE | EDWARD RURANGARANGA
KAMPALA - The body of fallen Uganda People's Congress (UPC) party former national chairman Rtd. Maj. Edward Rurangaranga is lying in state inside Parliament.
The House is to have a special sitting to honour the late UPC stalwart, who died Monday night at his home in Sheema district.
Rurangaranga, who had a vast political career, including serving as minister in Dr. Milton Apolo Obote's government, will be buried on Saturday in his native Sheema.
On Thursday, his body was received by deputy Speaker of Parliament Jacob Oulanyah. Later, he paid his respects to the former politician and signed the condolence book.
