Parliament to honour ex-minister Mutagamba

KAMPALA - Parliament will today pay tribute to the late former minister of tourism Maria Mutagamba.
She also served in parliament as Rakai Woman MP until 2016.
Mutagamba's body is expected at Parliament will be received by the Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga.
The 64-year-old ex-minister succumbed to liver cancer Saturday night at Case Clinic in Kampala.
After the arrival of her body at Parliament, it will lie in state there and the public will have a chance to view it. Later in the afternoon, MPs will pay their tributes Mutagamba's body is taken to Rakai district where she will be buried.
NRM secretary general Kasule Lumumba said Mutagamba will be missed for her exemplary dedication towards work.
