The date for this year's Uganda Cup final has been adjusted by FUFA.

The final that was slated for June, 10, has now been pushed to June 15th.

FUFA Big League side Paidha Black Angels will play KCCA in the final at Green Light Stadium, Arua (FUFA West Nile Region).

"The date was changed from June, 10 to June 15 because the national team will be playing on the same day away against the Cape Verde Islands. So to accommodate the interests of key stakeholders, Thursday, June 15, 2017 was confirmed since KCCA shall be also playing away to Nigeria's Rivers United on June, 20, 2017," stated Ali Mwebe, the FUFA Competitions director.

KCCA settled for goalless draw against Express to progress to the final 3-2 on aggregate while Paidha also advanced to final after a 3-2 win aginst Sadolin Paints.

Vipers are the defending champions of the competition that has been played since 1971.
