Mutebi says KCCA were careless in defeat to Rabat

KCCA FC coach Mike Mutebi is optimistic that his side will return to winning ways in their next CAF Confederation Cup engagements.

Mutebi was reacting after KCCA were humbled 3-0 by FUS Rabat of Morocco on Saturday.

"We conceded three goals because of being careless in the middle of the park. FUS Rabat were the better side but we shall go back to the drawing board and rectify our mistakes," stated Mutebi.

"The players need to be more efficient and keep the focus. That is what we lacked but I believe there is room for improvement and I expect a better performance" he added.

The local champions are in Group A alongside FUS Rabat, Club Africain (Tunisia) and Rivers United (Nigeria). Club Africain defeated Rivers United 3-1 in Tunisia in the other match on Sunday.

KCCA will now host Club Africain and Rivers United in their next games at home on May 24 and June 3^rd respectively.
