Mothers have done a lot in our lives. From the time of conception up to now, they are still holding unto us. There is never a moment you can reach out to your mother and she fails to help.  If she does not have a tangible thing to offer, she will give you a word of wisdom.

Open shoes or sandals are a good way to please her simply because she would like something easy to wear as she goes about her daily duties.

You can custom make your mother a clock with words inscribed on it the message you want to relay. Joanita Wamanya of Gift Group  shop in Kampala reveals that since a clock stays at home, whenever your mother looks at it, she will always remember your gratitude.

 
In addition to that, you can give your mother a card and an art piece wishing her a good mother's day, still she will be grateful.

You can make your mother happy by buying her a smart phone. A friend of mine's mom complained that she was already fed up with buttons phones. ‘I am ready to learn about the smart phone and navigate it," she said.   So, a smart phone can be a   good buy for her. Besides you can offer your mother an Ipad if she already did not have it.

 

Books

There are some mothers who will never get tired of reading. "A good book is the best gift you can ever give me," says Pauline Musoke, a mother of six. "I can never get tired of reading."  

 
If you know the taste of your mother, then you can   buy a book that best suits her.   These many include novels, self-help books, Holy books and magazines.

Music

A good song always warms and lightens up a heavy spirit. By choosing the music that can either sooth or lighten the mood of your mother, you would have saved her from stress.

No matter the number of clothes a woman has, she will always be happy to receive a new one. You can buy Nigerian wear for your mother or make an attire that best suits her interest.

 
Bags

With a good bag, Esther Nambi of shop B33 on Mabirizi complex says you can change your mother's dressing code. "A good bag should match with the shoes in order to transform the person's image," Nambi reveals. The bags can include office bags, shopping bags, party bags, clutches and purses.
