KCCA coach Mike Mutebi has praised his side for putting up a good fight in the Uganda Cup.

Mutebi's praise came after KCCA  progressed to the semi-finals of the Uganda Cup after eliminating Police 1-0 .

"I'm happy with the display today because the players have started to master the way we want to play, being confident on the ball and dominating play.You could see the changes within the game, from playing three defenders to the flat four then changes in the midfield up to the attacking line,"stated Mutebi.

Derrick Nsibambi's stike in the extra time from Paul Mucureezi cross, gave KCCA a chance to tie a date with rivals Express in the semis final.

In the same game, KCCA goalkeeper Douglas Kisembo saved Rahmat Senfuka's penalty.
