Saudi Arabia Tour To Uganda
April 29-7 may

The Saudi Arabia tour To Uganda will answer best the pending question of consistence with the rejuvenated Cricket Cranes.

Following their revealing performance against Kenya in the recently concluded Easter Series, It remains to be seen whether the cricket cranes can parlay a similar performance on April 29 to May 7 when they entertain Saudi Arabia in another series of pick-up games ahead of the ICC World Cricket League Division 3.

A high level of consistence is a focal requirement in first class cricket and certainly the Saudi Arabia Tour To Uganda comes at the right time.

When Uganda met Saudi Arabia last year in the Qudrangular Series in Kenya, Uganda was beaten by 37 runs. Their top order didn't quite impress with Arthur Kyobe top scoring on 40 runs.

"Testing further our abilities once again before the main tournament is really important. Saudi Arabia is such a good side to serve this purpose. We are really looking up to the challenge" said Davis Karashani, captain of Uganda.

The lack of conditioning experts on the team has somewhat left gaps interms of the players' physical state as witnessed in the series against Kenya. A number of players including opener Hamu Kayondo, Roger Mukasa, Davis Karashani among others endured some  injuries though they were not intense to keep them out.

Karashani believes that it would only become better if they had an arrangement where health and conditioning experts are employed on the team as it is the case with their opponents in the upcoming ICC WCL DIV 3.

However Karashani's case is being helped. Paradise Gym at Acacia Mall is handling his knee rehabilitation at a free offer.

Uganda's performance against Saudi Arabia will offer a conclusive analysis for the team going into the much awaited ICC WCL DIV 3 where the top two teams will qualify to play ICC WCL DIV 2.
