The escalating hunger in Teso region has forced school going children to engage in illegal labour for survival.

This has been witnessed in Ongino sub-county in Kumi district.
 
Charles Aisu, the LC3 of Ongino says his office has received such complaints and they're planning embark on hunting for such parents so that they are brought to book.
 
Aisu warns that any parent who will be arrested shall be subjected to a fine of sh20,000 per child found home as their bylaws stipulate.
