Researchers in call on physically disabled learners

University researchers want government to devise means of safeguarding physically disabled children like albinos so that they can stay in school.

Dr. Wardah Rajab Gyagenda the head of the Research school at IUIU, said that government needs to begin treating albinos as children with disabilities and have special care for them to remain in school.
 
This was during a UNICEF workshop at Islamic University in Uganda Kibuli to disseminate the child focused research Agenda 2015-2020.
 
Gemma Ahabwe, a research expert from Makerere University, said that government also needs to teach people how to eliminate cultures that discriminate disadvantaged children like Albinos.
