Man admits to defiling 10-year-old girl

Isaac Ssebowa, a resident of Kiteredde in Wakiso district has been convicted of aggravated defilement on his own plea.

High Court Judge Joseph Murangira presiding over criminal session at high court in Entebbe has set April 19 for sentencing.

State attorney Lydia Nakato asked court to allow the victim's parents to give their opinion before the sentence.

Ssebowa however, denied count two of aggravated defilement. Prosecution alleges that Ssebowa waylaid two small pupils, one, aged 10 and the other 8 while going to school at Kiteredde.

He dragged them to the bush and defiled them.

Court will hear the second count which he denied.

Ssebowa admits having defiled the girl of 10 years but denies defiling the one of 8 years.
