The service will be held at the home of his father Bright Dhaira in Walukuba East on Good Friday.

According to Faisal Mayemba the foundation spokesperson, the service will be led by Rev Aggrey of All Saints Church in Walukuba.

Dhaira passed away on March 27th, 2016 in Iceland where he played professional football.

Mayemba said teams where the fallen star played like Uganda Cranes, Express FC, URA, UPDF, FUFA and his former school Jinja SSS are expected to attend.

He also played for Wama FC, Alidina FC, Industrial FC Mbale, Simba FC from Tanzania and Vita from Congo DRC.

He added that they want to use the service to task FUFA to explain how far they have gone with signing a memorandum of understanding with government to construct the Abel Dhaira Stadium formerly known as Tobacco Stadium.

Bright Dhaira said they want to use the chance to inform the masses on the stand of Jinja Municipal Council's resolution to construct a statue of the deceased because it will be done by companies like BIDCO Uganda and URA where he once played.

Kezaala Muhammad Baswari former Jinja mayor said the stadium would be constructed with an artificial turf with support from FUFA.
