Deadline is 24th April 2017 by 5.00pm.

The Responsible Fisheries Business Chains Project (RFBC) is part of the GIZ Global Program "Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture" as part of the Uganda Country package.

The objective of this program is to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger. In Uganda the RFBC Project is based in the "the Lake Victoria Fisheries Organisation (LVFO)" in Jinja an East African Community Organisation.

As a result the RFBC project is active in all three riparian states of Lake Victoria where it works in collaboration with LVFO and its institutions as well as with the private sector associations.

The main aims of the project are:

• To assist and support the implementation of the Nile perch Fisheries Management Plan (2015-2019)

• To create a paradigm shift leading to the adoption of business approaches to resource management along the value chain.

The GIZ/RFBC project is searching for suitable qualified applicants to fill the position of Administrative Officer.
