Benezeri quits music

Benezeri scooped a job in Uganda Revenue Authority after campus and was posted in Gulu district.

After five years of hustling with music, Benezeri Wanjara alias Benezeri has decided to quit music to concentrate on his new job.

Benezeri, a son of the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Mike Chibita and Dr. Monica Chibita, the head of Mass Communication department at Uganda Christian University (UCC) revealed that he has quit music so that he can fully serve the nation in another capacity. 

Benezeri scooped a job in Uganda Revenue Authority after campus and was posted to Gulu district. 

The gospel rapper came to the lime light  in 2011 during his 'A' level at Vienna College Namugongo after beating hundreds of young MC's to win the Sprite rap challenge weeks before his 18th birthday.

Benezeri explained that he decided to quit music so that he concentrates on the new job but first remained adamant since he loved music with passion.

"For the last four months, the decision to quit music has been heavy on my heart and I could spend sleepless nights meditating over the move," Benezeri revealed in an email he sent to New Vision.  

He has songs like Abeyo with Santana, Mama, Give me love and other songs.
