Uganda football governing body FUFA plans to take a delegation of football stakeholders to Morocco to tour the country in order to understand how the government, federation and corporate sponsors there undertake massive infrastructure development, among others.

FUFA president Moses Magogo is currently in Morocco where he on Wednesday met with his Moroccan counterpart Fouzi Lekjaa and agreed to support each other.

To that effect FUFA and the Morocco Football Associations have signed a bilateral agreement to exchange technical football programmes for the next decade.

Magogo confirmed having signed a long-term treaty with the Morocco Football Association to see the two countries promote training camps, share football knowledge, best practices and experiences in football development.

"It is another milestone to have the Federal Republic of Morocco Football Association as our development partners and I am definitely excited," said Magogo.

"It is our strategy to create partnerships and relationships for the betterment of our game."

FUFA believes partnerships with more powerful FAs from different parts of the world is what Uganda needs to propel its football beyond the CECAFA region which it rules.
