KCCA FC striker Geoffrey Sserunkuma is confident that his team can go on to defend the league title if they keep key players injury free.
Sserunkuma feels KCCA has the quality to perform better than last season.
"We need to keep ourselves injury free but also utilize our squad well. We have to defend the league title, give our best in the Uganda Cup, so we just have to work hard to make sure we achieve all that,"Sserunkuma stated.
The Cranes striker is the current top scorer in the league with nine goals. Muzamir Mutyaba, Derrick Nsibambi and Joseph Ochaya are the other KCCA FC players with four goals each.
He added,"My ambition is to always score goals but also get involved in assisting them but the primary target is finding the back of the net and I have to improve on that if the team is do well in the second round."
Sserunkuma's remarks come ahead of KCCA's league encounter against BUL on February 7th and the CAF Champions League game.
