FUFA Big League: Namityobora sign six players

With fresh additions to their side, Namityobora will now look to topple rivals Masavu in the group.

FUFA Big League side Namityobora FC have signed six new players to strengthen their team for the second round that kicked off last week.

They are yet to play a game in this round and are second in the Rwenzori Group on 22 points - five behind leaders Masavu FC.

In the first round, the Mbarara-based side registered six wins, four draws and two defeats in the first round. They scored 15 goals altogether and conceded six in that period.

With fresh additions to their side, Namityobora will now look to topple rivals Masavu in the group.

The new players are Shaban  Omara Shaban from Moroto United, Martin Bugembe (Nawanku FC 1st division Kampala), Isma Kawawulo (Kansanga FC 1st Division Makindye), Charles Ssebutinde (Kazo United 1st Division Kawempe), Yunusu  Kaddu (Entebbe FC) and Elvis Kiberu from Kitende Mukyanga FC 1st Division in Wakiso district.

Meanwhile, the side has also released five players and loaned one.

Those let go include Ronald Nyanzi, Musa Nakibinge, Babu Kihogo, Emma Anhensiko and Bassy Marco Methodius.

Nyanzi joined Elman FC in Somalia while Arafat Ssentongo  was loaned to Mbarara Academy regional.
