Kiprotich to grace PRAU Run

The run will start off at Lugogo Indoor Stadium on Friday evening

Former Olympic champion Stephen Kiprotich will headline the Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU) monthly run on Friday at the Lugogo Indoor Stadium, officials have confirmed.

The run which has a history of hosting public figures will be the first event of the association's 2017 calendar and the major aim is to promote the sense of keeping a healthy and fit life among the members and also to serve as an example to the public

"This monthly run is special to all the PRAU members as they get to interact with an internationally recognized and award winning long-distance runner. We are in to learn the bigger lessons of perseverance and performance which all our members can apply in their careers" said Cynthia Mpanga the PRAU president.

It should be underscored that the event has in the past attracted media personalities like Robert Kabushenga the CEO of Vision Group and Flavia Tumusiime.

The run will start off at Lugogo Indoor Stadium at 5.30pm with a warm up session after which the official run will commence at 6pm.

Paul Mwirigi, the PRAU director, said the event is free and open to all members of the public.

PRAU is the umbrella public relations body in Uganda having been set up to uplift the standards in and promote the public relations profession in the country.​
