With this seventh straight victory, St Lawrence University BSC stretched their lead in Monsoon Group

Joshua Lubwama netted a hattrick while Emmanuel Kalyowa picked up a brace as St. Lawrence University BSC beat Real Galacticos 8-3 at the resumption of second round of the National Beach Soccer League at Lido Beach on Sunday.

Sulaiman Ochero, Swaleh Kiggundu, Raymond Murungi added the other goals for St Lawrence as they denied the usually physical Real Galacticos BSC their short balls and shoot on sight style of play but instead attacked them from the first whistle.

With this seventh straight victory, St Lawrence University BSC stretched their lead in Monsoon Group to 21 points ahead of second placed KIU.

"We couldn't allow them to play their game. We also took advantage of their slow game to keep the ball away from them. I can't say this is our year because we have played like this for the last three seasons," St Lawrence sports tutor Peter Seguya who stands in for his coach Davis Ssozi who was suspended one year said.

Ssozi was suspended at the end of the first round for inciting his players to walk out of the a game in protest of officiation.

Another upset on Sunday came when YMCA BSC shocked MUBS 9-6 to win and leap to the top of the Hurriken group with 18points.
