Court has remanded businessman Matthew Kanyamunyu and his co-accused to Luzira Prisons over the alleged murder of Kenneth Watmon Akena.
On Tuesday, Nakawa Grade One Magistrate Noah Ssajjabi remanded Kanyamunyu, his girlfriend Cynthis Munwangari and his brother Joseph Kanyamunyu after state prosecutor Racheal Nabwire told court that investigations in the murder case are still ongoing.
"The matter is coming to court for mention but I pray that it is adjourned because investigations are still ongoing" she requested.
This prompted the Magistrate to remand the accused until January 31, 2017 when they will re-appear in court for mention of the case.
