URA FC were eleminited from Mapinduzi Cup on Sunday by Taifa ya Jang'ombe of Zanzibar who beat them 1-0.

Out of the four games they played, they managed to register one victory. They defeated KVZ FC 2-0 in their opening game before losing 2-1 to Jang'ombe Boys and later settled for a goalless draw with Simba in their second last game of the group stages.

URA and KCCA FC are  the only Ugandan sides  to have won the tournament. Despite being eliminated, URA FC used the tournament as a build up for the second round of the Azam Uganda Premier League.
