Pepsi National Basketball League finals: Best-of-seven-series

Game two: City Oilers v Power

Game one: City Oilers 78 Power 76

Power coach is confident his side will shake off Friday's game one defeat to rivals City Oilers when the two sides meet again today for the second of seven games of the national basketball league playoff finals.

"We have good players on the team which is the only thing any coach would look out for in a good team," said Arnold Lando in the build-up to Sunday's encounter.

"We just have to work on a few mistakes," he added.

Game one ended 78-76 in favour of the Oilers who had new addition Jonah Otim nail a game-high 20 points while Jimmy Enabu contributed 16 points.

Despite Power holding out hope, their resilient opponents remain favorites to take the series - but they will have to work harder in the remaining six games to stay true to such expectations.

Oilers captain, who notched 16 points for his side in game one, said his team will do what has been working for them.

"We are less concerned about Power's team composition or the angle in which they have decided to tackle the game," he said in the run-up to the game.

"All we intend to do is to play as a team. With the strong teamwork and coordination we have built, I'm sure we shall register a fourth victory."

The Oilers have won the league three times before but in the face of yet another such victory stand a determined Power side keen on reigniting their old glory.
