Kampala University are boasting that they have the best football team as they strive to clinch the regional title at the  East Africa university games starting Friday in Nairobi, Kenya.

The Ggaba based side won the 2016 Nile Special University Football League title last month after beating Nkumba 3-2 in extra-time, winning their second trophy in the local university competition since 2013.

KU will be defending the handball title as they also strive to better their performances in athletics and badminton where they finished in second position during the 2014 edition held at UCU in Mukono.
