URA FC kick-off preparations for Mapinduzi Cup

The weeklong event is scheduled to start on January 2

URA FC have kicked off their preparations for the Mapinduzi Cup football tournament that is held in Zanzibar annually.

The weeklong event is scheduled to start on January 2. URA are the defending champions.

The tax collectors who defeated league champions KCCA over weekend, returned to intensive training at Homesdallen, Gayaza ahead of the event.

A contingency of 18 players and 7 team officials will set off from Kampala on December 28th 2016.

URA FC are the 2016 Mapinduzi Cup Winners having defeated Tanzanian giant Mtibwa FC in the finals.
