AZAM UGANDA PREMIER LEAGUE
Sadolin v KCCA at Bugembe (today at 4.30pm)
KCCA FC will miss the services of defender Habib Kavuma, midfielders Muzamir Mutyaba and Brian Majwega when they travel to Jinja to face Sadolin Paints today at Bugembe Stadium in the Azam Uganda Premier League.
Kavuma will sit out due to suspension while Mutyaba is down with malaria. Majwega who has had little playing time this season is unfit.
Despite the trio missing out in KCCA's squad, coach Mike Mutebi is confident his side can register a victory.
"We know what to expect from Sadolin and we are ready to deal with it. We have many versatile players that can cover that void," he said.
Sadolin, however, has a better head-to-head. In their last four meetings, the Jinja-based side have won twice and drawn once with KCCA.
If KCCA win today, they will open up a seven -point lead at top of the table. They are currently at the helm of the log on 31 points - three above second placed SC Villa.
A win of more than one goal for 10th-placed Sadolin will lift them three places into seventh place, above Express.
The last time KCCA played at Bugembe Stadium, they had to share spoils with Kirinya Jinja SS early this season.
Meawhile, all the other teams were in action on Tuesday, which saw a total of 13 goals scored overall.
Lweza, Proline and Express won their games against Police, Jinja SSS and Soana respectively. The other four matches ended in a draw.
