KCCA Leopards' Martha Soigi led her side to a first victory against archrivals UCU Lady Canons in Game 3 of the Pepsi National Basketball League at YMCA on Sunday.

Soigi scored a game high 15 points as the Leopards grabbed victory in the last five minutes of regulation time to take back the pressure to the defending champions.

Flavia Oketcho and Rebbecca Akullo added 10 points apiece for the refurbished KCCA who will need another win to level the series in order to keep themselves in position to win the 2016 NBL Championships.

After the game, Oketcho told New Vision they are ready to cultivate on their opponents with trivial mistakes.

"The winner is always the best team and the one who will make the least mistakes, which is what we intend to do starting now. We just need to bring on our A-game."

Judith Nansobya and Ritah Imanishimwe contributed 13 and 11 points respectively for the Lady Canons but they could not survive the frantic and tactful Leopards.
