SC Villa kicked off their Far East tour on a winning note with victory over Vietnam top side Binh Duong.

The Jogoos had to fight back to brush aside Duong in a six-goal thriller.

Over the weekend a contingent of 22 Villa players and four officials left Uganda for a ten-day tour in Asia where they are spending three days each in Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia before returning on November 30.

Alex Kitatta, who came on as a substitute for Umar Kasumba, notched a brace while Taddeo Lwanga and Fahad Ndayisenga also found the net for the 16-time Ugandan premier league champions.

Uganda Cranes midfielder Moses Oloya has previously played for Binh Duong.

Next up, Villa will face Dong Tam Long An in their next game on Wednesday.

Villa currently sit second from the top of the Azam Premier League table with 24 points from 12 games. They will face Vipers SC in their next local fixture on December 3.

Defending champions KCCA are top of the pile with 28 points.
