Apac Hospital is in a ‘dark' following power cuts by Umeme over accumulated bills. The hospital owes Umeme sh219m.
Patients and locals are now calling upon the Government to intervene saying that the lives of the patients are at risk.
Joseph Onuk, the senior hospital administration said the bills have accumulated over the years.
The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Saraphine Alia said both health and finance ministries have been contacted over the problem but no response yet.
