The draw gave BUL FC a much needed relief

BUL FC head coach Frank 'Video' Anyau was contented as his side battled to a scoreless draw against Sadolin Paints FC in a Jinja derby  to move out of the relegation zone despite wasting so many scoring opportunities at Bugembe stadium.

Former Sadolin Paints FC winger Braise Nkolo, veteran winger Yudah Mugalu and Milton Karisa all missed golden chances that would have given BUL FC an advantage  in first half.

The home side had the only golden chance of the day from right back Ronald Lukungu whose 25 yard free kick was cleared off the line.

"This game was a high tempo game as BUL FC dominated us in first half but after recess , we tried to rally back and match them.I am happy that it ended in a draw because my team has not played well at home," said Simon Kirumira, the Sadolin Paints FC head coach .

"This is a derby where no one wants to lose points . A point now is better than non but I must say that my young strikers played when they were so nervous infront of goal . My role as a coach is to sharpen them up,"said Anyau .

The draw gave BUL FC a much needed relief to jump one step off the relegation zone with 11 points with a better goal difference over Police while Sadolin Paints FC moved to nineth position sharing the same points with Bright Stars FC, Express FC and Saints FC .
