Uganda Cranes first choice goalkeeper Denis Onyango received a land title of a four acre piece of land as a token of appreciation from FUFA.

FUFA president Moses Magogo who announded the offer two weeks ago handed over the title of the land along Entebbe-Kampala Express highway to Onyango in the presence of state minister Charles Bakkabulindi before kickoff of the Cranes versus Congo Brazzaville 2018 World Cup qualifier at Namboole stadium on Saturday.

Uganda won 1-0 courtesy of a Faruku Miya goal in the 16th minute of the game.

The land is in Nsaggu but the player has requested the real estate company Canaan Sites Limited to change the offer to another piece of land along the road to Jinja.

Onyango won the gift for his performance with the Uganda Cranes as well as guiding his Mamelodi Sundowns to the ABSA Premiership and CAF Champions league trophies.
