Micho trims squad ahead of Congo game

Uganda Cranes coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic has cut the number of players in camp ahead of the World Cup Qualifier against Congo Brazzaville this Saturday at Namboole stadium.

The players sent home include; Dennis Okot(KCCA), Richard Kassaga and Shafik Kagimu both from URA, Godfrey Lwesibawa (SC Villa),Allan Kayiwa (Soana) and Halid Lwaliwa , Keziron Kizito,Erisa Sekisambu all from Vipers.

"The players sent home ae still part of the future plans. We have the CECAFA tournament coming up and other international engagements for the National team before the close of the year," Micho stated.

Players in camp include; Ismail Watenga, Robert Odongkara, Benjamin Ochan, Nicholas Wadada, Joseph Nsubuga, Hassan Wasswa Mawanda, Joseph Ochaya, Tonny Mawejje, Moses Oloya, Yunus Sentamu, Geoffrey 'Baba' Kizito, Geoffrey Serunkuma, Derrick Nsibambi,Dennis Iguma, Godfrey Walusimbi, Isaac Isinde, Yassar Mugerwa, Shafiq Batambuze, William Luwagga Kizito,  Geoffrey Massa and Khalid Aucho, Awanyi Timothy , Muzamil Mutyaba,  Saddam Juma ,Vitalis Tabu Abdul Malik, Farouk Miya,  Murushid Jjuuko, Dennis Onyango. Ronald Mukiibi and Mike Azira are expected to arrive on Tuesday.
