Top clubs Heathens, Pirates, Rhinos and Kobs secured victory in their opening fixtures of the 2016/2017 national rugby league on Saturday.
Hima cement Heathens smashed Rams 62-0 at Kyadondo with Kenneth Okogo, Allan Otimu scoring two tries each while Kenyan international Vicent Mose added a try.
In Gulu, visiting Betway Kobs had no respect for their visitors Gulu Elephant beat them by 67-7 as Rimula Rhinos beat Warriors 38-13 at Legends rugby club while Buzz Pirates defeated Impis 27-8 at the Grave Yard ground in Makerere.
The Sadolin Mongers managed to defeat their hosts Buffaloes 35-7 at the game played at Kyadondo rugby Club on Saturday.
Mongers coach Kigongo Ssebalamu said after the game that the win was a morale boost ahead of their next fixture against Betway Kobs.
"We are now motivated to take on Betway Kobs next weekend and it is going to be a tough game for them," Kigongo said.
