Sweet revenge as BUL FC thrash JMC Hippos in Jinja derby

Goals from Yunus Sibila , Blaise Nkolo and second half substitute Shaka Ssozi ensured BUL FC register a long awaited win over their neighbours JMC Hippos FC in a highly entertaining Jinja derby held at Kakindu stadium on Wednesday. BUL FC beat JMC Hippos 3-1.

The home side got off to a 2-0 half time lead with two quick goals from Sibila and Nkolo from two quick counter attacks in the last five minutes of the first half .

Second half substitute Ssozi made it 3-0, eight minutes before the finals during a heavy down pour but Abdulrahman Ajaab pulled one back
for JMC Hippos FC deep in injury time but it was too late for a latecome back. The win lifted the spirits of BUL FC players who had gone without a win sing beating Express FC in Wankulukuku in September.

"This was so sweet a result for my team . My team has been creating so many chances in as many matches but its quite good that today they converted them. We have had too many draws in the league so far but this win may give us a little more confidence to be able to convert as our chances," said BUL FC head coach Frank 'Video' Anyau.

His opposite number George Lutalo was left consoling himself more, "We made a few mistakes today but we need to be together and make
amends so that we limit these mistakes in the next matches."
