Can JKL Lady Dolphins and A1 Challenge end the five years dominance of KCCA Leopards and the UCU Lady Canons in the Pepsi National Basketball League (PNBL) Best- of - five semifinals?  This is the question on the minds of many Basketball fun.

For a period of over five years, the dual (KCCA and Lady Canons) have been shared the NBL championships amongst themselve. However this year it is anticipated that the monopoly could be broken and history written following the Best- of- five series semi-finals that commence today at YMCA.

JKL's senior player Peace Nakilijja promised a competitive and impressive team.

"After making it to the semifinals, we are determined to make it to the finals too," Nakiliija stated

"We have also continued to strengthen our team through training and we have tried to study the other teams and I believe we are good to go," she added.

The four teams will be having their first games on Friday and Sunday. The Lady Canons will be up against the A1 challenge while JKL Lady Dolphins will be facing the KCCA Leopards on Friday and Sunday respectively.
