Op Clothing, and Bobbin Brothers to showcase at NFW

This year’s Summer/Spring Edition will bring together fashion designers from Netherlands, Uganda, Egypt, Ghana, Benin, Zimbabwe and Kenya.

Uganda has two representatives Bobbin Brothers and Op Clothing lined up to showcase at the 2016 Nairobi Fashion Week (NFW) on 25th- 26th, November, at the Concord Hotels & Suites, Nairobi.

The Bobbin Brothers, Seif Nasa, and Bobbin Case may be based in Kenya but their heritage is Uganda.

The trio has also showcased at the Kampala Fashion Week. Their signature craft is mainly centered on costume, shapes, lines and objects; typical of minimal design.

Op Clothing is typically a ready to wear Ugandan brand, it is into Afro-Urban wear for her and him. It has been around since 2012, and is managed by Victoria Oluka.

The 4th edition of NFW is expected to start at 7.00 p.m-10.00pm for both nights.

Esther Muchene, the Public Relations Manager Nairobi Fashion Week says that this year's event theme dubbed 'Mama Africa' seeks to empower the African continent through fashion by portraying Africa's self-sustainability, hard work, resilience and its natural beauty.
