Kasiwukira's widow Nabikolo arrested

Busia District Police Commander, Nelson Nahabwe, confirmed the interception and the brief detention of Nabikilo.

 

The immigration at the border in Busia has intercepted Sarah Nabikolo the widow of the late Kampala business man Eriya Bugembe alias Kasiwukira as she tried to cross into Kenya.

Kasiwukira was knocked dead by a speeding car near his home in Muyenga a Kampala suburb as he was jogging.

Nabikolo was recently acquitted of murder charges of her husband by the High Court judge Musene but 2 of her co accused were convicted. The State has however, appealed against Nabikolo's acquittal.

"She was moving to Mombasa," Nahabwe said. A migration officer who did not want to be named said Nibikolo had a passport and a driving permit with different names but he had presented a driving permit.
