Uganda is in Pot 4 with Togo, Zimbabwe and Guinea Bissau

Uganda Cranes coach Micho Sredojevic is not worried that his side is likely set to face continental football heavyweights ahead of the AFCON draws.

Micho who is currently in Libreville, Gabon for 2017 AFCON draws slated  for this evening told New Vision that Cranes just need to improve on their performances if they are to compete favourably with top sides in Africa.

"Facing powerhouses is our destiny and AFCON is the party of the big boys of African football. We need hard work to enjoy the party" Micho stated.

Micho and the Commissioner for Physical Education in the Ministry of Education and Sports Omara Apita are representing Uganda at the draws.

Uganda is in Pot 4 with Togo, Zimbabwe and Guinea Bissau.

Cranes qualified for the finals for the first time since 1978 after edging Comoros 1-0 at Namboole.
