Wakiso district health officer Emmanuel Mukisa, one of the medical personnel interdicted on the orders of President Yoweri Museveni when he visited Nakawuka Health Centre recently, has asked the district disciplinary committee to act independently in order for him to get justice.

Mukisa was talking to the press after facing the district disciplinary committee over allegations that he failed to execute his duties.

He arrived at the district at 8:00am smartly dressed in a brown suit and well composed because he was talking to every one showing that he was not worried at all.

"I have appeared before the rewards and sanctions committee because some people want to portray me as an incompetent officer. This is not true because I have served this district for the last 16 years and I have been planning effectively," Mukisa said.
