Uganda Cranes rested first choice goalkeeper Dennis Onyango

Uganda Cranes head coach Micho Sredojevic knows how he will set his team up when it takes on Ghana in the Group E 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier after the lost to Togo in a friendly.

The Cranes lost 1-0 in the match played at the Kegue Stadium in Lome on Tuesday evening.

"We had three targets. We succeeded in getting two of these targets but a friendly match is different from the main match. We want to improve what was wrong" he said after the match.

Uganda Cranes rested first choice goalkeeper Dennis Onyango and started El Merriekh stopper Salim Jamal before KCCA FC custodian Benjamin Ochan came in.

Uganda beat Togo 3-0 at home and 1-0 away last November in a preliminary qualifying tie.

Uganda Cranes will camp in Lome until Thursday morning before traveling to Tamale ahead of Friday's match.
