More Ugandan artistes nominated in MTV Africa Music Awards

More Ugandan musicians have been nominated in the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA), the latest ones being Moses Ssali a.k.a Bebe Cool and Sheebah Karungi.

Bebe Cool has been nominated in the category of Listener's Choice in which he tussles  with 20 different African music stars such as Rwanda's Meddy, Kiss Daniel (Nigeria), Lij Michael (Ethiopia) and LXG (Sierra Leone).

According to http://wadupnaija.com, Sheeba's  Kisasi Kimu song has been nominated in the category of video of the year. In the same category; artistes such as Tiwa Savage, Cassper Nyovest and Anatii, Al Bairre and Phfat have been nominated.

Bebe Cool and Karungi will join Eddy Kenzo who was in the category "Best Live Act" in the awards.

The MAMA awards, now in their 6th edition, recognizes and rewards musicians and achievers who have made the most impact on African music and youth culture over the previous year. The winners for this year will be awarded on Saturday October 22, 2016 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
