Uganda Telecom customer week ends in style

Customers were thanked for being loyal and supporting the business over the years

Uganda Telecom treated its top 100 Enterprise customers to a lavish cocktail to recognize their continued support and partnership with the brand at Sheraton Kampala Hotel on Friday.

The event was honoured by representatives from Government Agencies, financial Institutions, corporates and small and medium enterprises.

Speaking at the event Uganda Telecom managing director Mark Shoebridge said "We are here today to celebrate you, our customers.  As a business we are grateful for your continued support and partnership. 

It's because of this partnership that we continue to exist in this very competitive telecom market."

"Our vision is to create a new and exciting experience to communication and we do this by continuously improving customer experiences and our product offerings. During this entire Customer Appreciation Week, we have received very interesting, insightful and honest feedback from our interactions with different customers that have participated in this initiative.

We hope that those conversations will continue this evening as we close this Customer Appreciation Week" he added.

 

The head of enterprise business Emmanuel Twesigye thanked the customers for being loyal and supporting the business over the years.

"I wish to thank you for the good partnership and business relationship that we have had year in, year out.

I thank you for consuming our services and in so doing, giving us a vote of confidence and a reason for us to keep providing quality services. We are optimistic that we shall continue with this relationship for many more years to come" Twesigye said.

The customer appreciation week was launched on 19th September and Uganda Telecom rewarded customers for their loyalty to the brand.

 

 

Customers engaged with and interacted with the Uganda Telecom senior management team who were stationed at the different service centres countrywide.

During the week also Uganda Telecom staff under the U-Can initiative, visited Mulago-Kawempe Hospital and donated waste bins and ward screens worth over sh5m to the hospital.
