It is safe to say Coral Coatings have demonstratively crafted a strong relationship with the Uganda Woodball Federation (UWbF) and are not close to ending their support to the federation.

Once again the textured and emulsion paint manufacturing company has pumped sh15m in this year's edition of the national woodball open that is due next month at the Uganda Christian University.

"We are glad to once again partner with the UWbF and of course seeing how vital sports is, it is only right we step in to help out where we can" said Michael Masene, operations manager, Coral Coatings during the launch of their sponsorship at the UWbF offices in Mengo on Thursday.

It should be underscored that the company was still the main sponsor of the 7th edition last year (10m) where Onesmus Atamba and Lillian Zawedde ruled in the stroke singles events.

Meanwhile 23 year old Joan Mukoova and Dennis SSekidde were the stand outs in the Fair way singles events.

"We can't thank enough Coral Coatings for the kind gesture. They have almost exhausted our budget and we are forever indebted to them. We hope they continue helping us out whenever there is need" UWbF president Mark Kayongo said.

The October meet will attract a strong cast of players prudently selected from this year's local calendar events.

The two days event has so far attracted 40 who will compete in the primary, secondary, clubs and corporate categories.
