Uganda Cranes to pitch camp in Togo

The last time Cranes met the West African giants was in the 2015 AFCON Qualifiers

Ghana V Uganda (Oct. 7th)

Uganda Cranes will hold a training camp in Lome, Togo ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier group stage match against Ghana on October 7th.

Cranes will also play an international friendly match against the hosts on October 4th.

The team will then fly out to Ghana the following day ahead of the crunch tie to be played on Friday 7th October in Tamale.

The last time Cranes met the West African giants was in the 2015 AFCON Qualifiers in 2014.

Cranes managed to gather four points off Ghana; defeating them 1-0 in Kampala and playing out a 1-1 draw away.

Coach Micho Sredojevic is expected to name the preliminary squad next week on Wednesday.

Uganda and Ghana are in the same group with Egypt and Congo Brazzaville.

Uganda thrashed Togo 4-0 on aggregate in the previous round to qualify for the group stages.
