In March this year,  Uganda's female rapper Jocylene Tracy a.ka. Keko announced she was throwing in the towel and retiring from singing. Through her twitter account, Keko hailed fans for supporting her. "I am retiring from music; I hope my last compositions add to the legacy, thank you for being supportive and buying the music," read the message.

While on stage, Keko said some people in Uganda say that Hip Hop is dead. She, however, said that Hip Hop is still active in the country.
 
Keko also performed her collaboration song with Madtrax titled Make you dance. Later, the rapper sung Mutima song alongside guitarist and singer Charmant Mushaga.
 
After the performance, she hailed everyone who had turned up for the concert. "I wanna thank all of you for coming out to support Navio tonight. They say hip-hop is dead, but look at all of you now. Thanks for the love," said Keko.
