Hand in hand with his daughter, Bishop Luwalira, at exactly 11:00am, emerged from the main entrance of the cathedral, to the altar where his son in-law Katimbo was waiting to receive his bride.

Friday morning, was a blessed day for Namirembe Diocese Bishop Rt. Rev. Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira, as he walked his first born daughter, Esther Grace Nabbembe, down the Namirembe Cathedral aisle.

Hand in hand with his daughter, Bishop Luwalira, at exactly 11:00am, emerged from the main entrance of the cathedral, to the altar where his son in-law Katimbo was waiting to receive his bride.

With the beautiful hymns of worship playing in the background, the cathedral was filled with cheers and ululations, as guests who included the Nabagereka of Buganda, Lady Sylvia Nagginda, Buganda Premier Charles Peter Mayiga, former Uganda premier Prof. Apolo Nsibambi and bishops among other dignitaries looked on with excitement, as the Bishop made way  to the pulpit with his daughter.

Unlike other weddings where Bishop Luwalira has presided over, Friday morning was a day for the Bishop to sit back, as the Assistant Bishop Kampala Diocese Rt. Rev. Hannigton Mutebi, wedded the couple.

"Katimbo, you should love your wife, as a man, you are required to love your wife, you have to sacrifice everything for her, just like Jesus Christ loved the Church and made sacrifice," Mutebi told the couple.

In his sermon, Katikkiro Mayiga asked the ‘Katimbos' ,to be secretive on matters concerning their marriage, saying marriage is for only two people.

Esther Grace Nabbembe, and Duncan Katimbo, who were pronounced husband and wife, are both ministers (singers) at Namirembe Cathedral.
