Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama will lead Kenya's Harambee Stars during Tuesday's international friendly against the Uganda Cranes at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

The 25 year-old was part of the Kenyan continent that set foot in the country on Monday morning.

Cranes coach Micho Sredejovic will utilize Cranes' friendly against Kenya tomorrow to assess the fitness levels, try out different tactical formations and also work on small but very important details like set-pieces ahead of the must-win game against Comoros.

 

A win against the Island outfit, currently bottom of Group D with three points, will earn Cranes 13 points —which will be the highest point tally of all teams looking at making Africa's top showpiece through the two tickets available for the second best finishers.

Kenya is preparing to face Zambia in their final Group E match.
